Your ongoing membership and support enables RCHS to meet the needs of our community through our programs of publishing, preserving and presenting the rich history of our Capital County.
RCHS has a variety of membership levels and benefits to meet your needs and your family’s needs. You can find information on membership and giving circle levels and benefits on the Membership page.
Your gifts help RCHS achieve its mission as we preserve our shared heritage, publish great new research and personal stories, and educate adults and students from across Ramsey County and beyond. Your ongoing support through donations to RCHS also subsidizes school field trips to the Gibbs Museum and supports special projects including exhibitions and publications.
Donate in Honor or Memory of Someone
You can make a tax-deductible donation to Ramsey County Historical Society and Gibbs Farm in honor or in memory of someone to show how much you care, while providing support to spread the knowledge of history throughout our community. When a memorial or honorary gift is received, we promptly send a personalized note to the person or family indicated, notifying them of your thoughtful donation. Memorial and honorary gifts are also recognized in a special section of our annual report each year.
The Legends Society recognizes RCHS lead supporters through giving circles named after icons and legends from Ramsey County history, from Jonathan Carver to J.J. Hill. As a Legends Society member, you receive all the benefits of membership plus VIP benefits throughout the year.
