Author and art historian Moira Harris will present the overlooked contributions of three extraordinary women who had huge influences on art in the Twin Cities and beyond. Each was a collector and advocate, as well as extremely knowledgeable in their chosen sphere. Each amassed huge collections of art and artifacts that they then chose to give away to various institutions open to the public.

Art historian, prolific author of books and articles on fine art and ephemera, and commentator on on the relationship between art and culture in the US, Moira F. Harris coauthored Minnesota Modern: Four Artists of the Twentieth Century (2015) with Brian Szott and Ben Gessner.
