RCHS asked community members to use their creativity and skills to document the Green Line Light Rail. The exhibition will consist of works created from or about the Green Line within the time period of January 2014-May 2015, which includes a portion of the construction phase; the Grand Opening; and the Green Line in operation.

Artists and the general public were asked to use their creativity and skills to document the Green Line Light Rail through the media of their choice to tell a story, capture a moment, and preserve their experiences. The works submitted by these community artists were juried, and the exhibition will include photos, paintings, artists’ books and video from these chosen entrants. Cash prizes will be awarded at the Opening Reception on June 18, including a People’s Choice Award. The works will be shown with artifacts and documents from RCHS’ collections that ground this artwork in the long history of our area.
