May 11

Mothers Day
Join us on Mother’s Day as we celebrate the four families of Jane Gibbs with the unveiling of the new Gibbs Mural. Artist, Dave Geister, will be on hand and in period costume to talk about his work. 
Mothers are admitted free on May 11 when accompanied by their kids. 

Other activities: Cookies & lemonade, Visit with Jane Gibbs, Homemade ice cream, Candle Dipping, Hairweaving, Pioneer crafts and More!


June 15

Fathers Day
Treat dear ole dad to a day of fun viewing antique automobiles.  Hear the story of St. Paul’s own Tommy Milton who won the Indianapolis 500 in the 1920’s.  Fathers are admitted free on June 15 when accompanied by their children.


July 20

Country Fest
This annual celebration of summer features music, crafts demonstrations, games for the kids and home made ice cream.  Don’t forget to take a chance in the raffle.


August 10

All in a Days Work
Come and help with the chores done by families in the last century.  Try your hand at making soap, dipping candles, washing laundry, black smithing, water witching and other chores.


September 14

Jane & the Dakotah
Celebrate Ramsey County’s original people. Learn how the Dakotah lived, try out tools, eat samples of native foods, and play traditional games.


October  19

Apple Festival
Explore the history and taste the heritage varieties of apples grown in the Gibbs orchard. The Apple Festival is filled with family fun and food focusing on the apple.

October 25

All Hallows Eve
This night time story telling event has been popular for almost two decades.  Stories and skits of the season will thrill and entertain you, and the old Halloween treat of “soul cakes” and cider will warm you.  Groups start on the lantern tour every half hour from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Reservations are required: call 646-8629 to make yours now
