The Gibbs Museum of Pioneer and Dakotah Life is a historic museum interpreting the real life relationship of the Gibbs family and Cloud Man’s band of Dakotah living in the mid 1800’s. The museum consists of the Gibbs family farm house, one-room school house and tipi nestled in a reconstructed prairie. Tours of the site are offered May through October.

The Gibbs Museum is a popular destination for school groups and summer visitors. It is conveniently located between St. Paul and Minneapolis just north of the state fair grounds in Falcon Heights which provides a scenic back drop for your special event.

 Hours of Operation:
The Gibbs Museum is open to the public Tuesday though Sunday, Noon to 4pm.
Group tours are available by reservation.

After hour events may be scheduled with the site management staff.
